Farmersville Branch Library

About Farmersville
Farmersville Library began as a schoolhouse library deposit station during the formation of the Tulare County Library in 1911. In 1919, Farmersville became an actual branch of the Tulare County Library system. Operations occurred normally until 1993, when the Farmersville Library transitioned into a volunteer run library not under Tulare County Library’s support. Between January 2001 and May 2001, a trial run occurred where Tulare County Library again staffed and operated the Farmersville Library, only to revert back to a volunteer run library. The Farmersville Library reopened as a Tulare County Library branch on April 22, 2017.
