Advisory Board
Meetings every second Tuesday at 4 pm
The Tulare County Library Advisory Board meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 4 pm at various branch locations. The public is welcome to attend with meetings lasting about an hour.
What is the Advisory Board?
The Advisory Board represents the community by working with the County Librarian to maintain and improve library services in Tulare County. The ten members are chosen by the Board of Supervisors from the community with one representative from each Supervisorial District, plus five others at-large.
The Library Advisory Board shall be the advisory Board of the Supervisors, and it shall be the duty of the Library Advisory Board to advise and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisorsregarding all phases of library services and operations of the Tulare County Free Library System.
