What is the Winter Reading Challenge?

 

Tulare County Library is hosting a 5 week reading challenge for all ages!

 

For every 60 minutes you log-in, you'll receive a badge. Reach 180 minutes and receive a FREE book at your Library.

 

Complete the Winter Reading Challenge by reading 300 minutes and be entered into a drawing to win a Prize! Prizes include: gift cards, Fire Tablet, Air Pods, and more!

ONLINE SIGN UP BASICS

 

  • Go to https://tularecountylibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack Tracker App (iOS, Android) on your smartphone or tablet

  • Click “Register an Individual or Family”

  • Fill out the form

  • Read and log your minutes!

  • Already have an account?  Simply click the "Sign In" button.

TRACK YOUR READING, ONLINE

  • Sign into your Beanstack account. In the upper left corner click on the name of the reader you are logging for.

  • Click Log Reading and Activities in the right-hand corner.

  • Log minutes — fill out number of minutes and click log.

  • When you reach 300 minutes, you've done your part and completed the challenge!

TRACK YOUR READING, IN-PERSON

  • Pick up a reading log at your nearest Tulare County Library branch.

  • Each time you read 20 minutes, check a box on your log.

  • When you reach 300 minutes, turn your log in to your library. You've done your part and completed the challenge!

What if my child doesn't read on their own yet? 

You may read aloud to them!

Do audiobooks count? 

Yes, all books count regardless of format or language!
