Adult Education & Career Resources

	A collection of full-text articles from more than 200 health reference books and encyclopedias, as well asimages, videos, and diagrams.		Provides assessments tools, career profiles, financial aid information and resume guides for students exploring college options, or a potential career path or experienced workers considering a career change or continuing education.

	Multilingual Health Databases A collection of reports, in multiple languages, for the most common health topics.		Information about online career search websites, local staffing and employment agencies, and job search assistance has been compiled by library staff.

	Designed for preschool to 3rd grade children, this interactive, online tool has 190 animated, talking picture books with more than 50 books in Spanish. Using pairs of fiction and nonfiction books, BookFlix is perfect for early readers, reluctant readers and English Language Learners at home, in the classroom or in the library.		The Learning Express Library has practice tests and tutorials for a variety of exams. Tests are scored immediately and individual test results are analyzed and explained.

			An adult career center with online live help in GED prep, citizenship, career essentials and academic studies has been added to the Tutor.com website.

			The library's computer lab offers classes in computer use, Microsoft software, Internet accessing and emailing. All branches have PCs with Internet access for library cardholders.
